My name is Ryan Nore and I am an artist, illustrator and caricaturist. I have been a hobby artist most of my life and always mingling on the outskirts of a professionally art involved life since my late teens. I have painted signs, pin striped automobiles, done auto body customization and spent about 13 years in the web design and development business. Even though most of my energy is currently focused on illustration at this point in my life I certainly don’t avoid dabbling in those other artistic fields I so much enjoy like sculpting, poetry, short stories, and even carpentry. When I was young, early teens and younger, I was more a realist and mainly worked with pencil, graphite and aquarelle, and ink drawing things like portraits, deer or cars. In my late teens and mid twenties I was much more experimental and imaginative; using mainly paints, from acrylics to enamels to spray paints and watercolors, and pastels and creating more surreal and fantasy illustrations, paintings and drawings or even cartoons. In my late twenties, until today, my main medium of artistic expression is pixels. I worked my entire thirties as a web, graphic and game designer / developer. However now my style is more a mix of realism and cartoon and probably the main reason I enjoy doing caricatures so much. While having only recently thrown myself into the world as an illustrator I have been very nicely accepted and recognized as such. Some of my illustrations have received various awards and featured in magazines along with a few interviews in on and offline magazines. You can find more information in regards to my recognition as an illustrator within the pages on my site.
